TangoAV utilizes audio and video fingerprinting which, unlike watermarking, does not alter or degrade the content being monitored. Zeitera’s sophisticated fingerprint technology is robust to major changes in the video or audio content, such as aspect ratio, frame rate, pitch and image resolution.

TangoAV captures reference signatures from either a live SDI feed or a compressed file and compares these against query signatures of a video stream being monitored or file being inspected. Synchronization is detected automatically with no need for adjustment or manipulations of the video during monitoring. A/V lip sync delays are reported in milliseconds, the system provides detailed report logs and messages broken out by files or channels.
The system sends reference or query signatures to other TangoAV systems via a TCP/IP connection or a MPEG transport stream to allow multiple systems to interoperate even if they are in remote facilities.
A single TangoAV system can handle multiple SDI signal inputs so that one system can compare a playout facilities input and output signals.
User configurable delay thresholds can be set to trigger an alarm of when A/V lip sync goes outside of preset windows. TangoAV also features an intuitive user interface and a remote monitoring application where multiple systems are configured and monitored.
