Duties:
Bring up, debug and maintain 24x7 production server services and complex search algorithms on standard Linux servers. Perform performance analysis and improvement of the overall system. Oversee datacenter operations for Zeitera’s ACR systems and internal IT infrastructure for Zeitera staff. This is an opportunity to be a hands-on contributor and demonstrate leadership by example in a brand new industry. The desired individual will have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- Capacity planning and maintaining IT project roadmap.
- Maintaining budgets, vendor relationships, procurement standards
- Promoting best practices and identifying and implementing improvements to underlying processes and procedures.
- Being responsible for 24/7/365 system operations
Requirements:
- 5+ years as a sysadmin or related position.
- 3+ years supporting mission-critical IT/Ops infrastructure.
- Previous experience managing other IT professionals.
- Experience with a scripting language is required Strong experience with networking and TCP/IP sockets programming is required.
- C programming skills within a Linux/Unix programming environment is preferred

Job Summary:
Zeitera is looking for a talented Software Engineer to develop mobile and embedded applications using Zeitera’s ACR technology. This position will be responsible for developing and porting the Zeitera’s suite of client applications and libraries across various mobile platforms and Smart TVs. This position will have the opportunity to work across multiple mobile platforms and stay current in various mobile and embedded technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and port feature rich mobile multimedia applications on a variety of handsets mobile platforms and Smart TVs such as Android, iOS, RIM, Linux, Broadcom, Mediatek, etc.
- Build and maintain platform agnostic applications that showcase the Zeitera platform.
- Work closely with management on feature definition.
- Work closely with management on project schedules.
- Participate in bug scrubs and provide technical guidance to the test teams to build manual and automated test suites.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Hands on experience working with at least one of these mobile platforms – Android, iOS, RIM, WinPhone7, BREW, J2ME, Windows Mobile.
- Hands on experience working with scripting languages such as Lua, Python, Perl, or Ruby.
- Experience in object oriented and independent design of applications or systems.

Design and develop library APIs for embedded device-based customers. Design and develop REST based web services for fingerprint based video identification for distributed software solutions. Build automated systems for logging, health monitoring and backup of important data. Build and execute performance and scalability tests. Work with team to ensure that software is tested and released with highest standards and in a timely manner. Write wrapper modules for the core technology to improve the usage and to evaluate the system.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming in C++ for both general purpose as well as embedded systems including use of various GNU-based development tools
- Background in designing high-performance custom databases and familiarity with off-the-shelf database systems;

- Experience with a scripting language is required Strong experience with networking and TCP/IP sockets programming is required.
Education:
Four year degree in CS, CE is required. Master’s in CS/EE is preferred.
